Auroville Development Scheme 1988 – 1995

The study consists of two parts. After an overview into the Matrimandir, Crown Road, and the four zones (residential, cultural, international, and industrial), it proposes development plans in two phases; 1988-1990 and 1990-1995. The first phase outlines infrastructure, housing development, NewComer housing, and SAIIER; and the second phase examines further detailed development divisions including community facilities, villages, organic farming, alternative energies, sports, and educational centres such as museum of archaeology, centre for dreams and visions for children, centre fro evolutionary studies, technical training centre, centre for audio-visual educational material, and centre for international research for human unity.
