The presentation focuses on proposing guidelines for the desirable built environment in the residential sectors of Auroville. It aims to determine suitable densities and populations for the residential zone, provide basic guidelines for future development, and evolve a broad land use pattern and structure plan for Auroville. Various methodologies, including crosschecking proposed figures and analyzing existing built environments are employed to achieve these objectives.
