Auroville – A Way Forward, Collaborative Session

Organized in January 2019 the six-day collaborative sessions aimed at engaging more that 200 members of the Auroville community to express their concerns, hopes and dreams and to develop ideas and concrete steps for a way forward. The report summarizes result of the work undertaken by 5 focus groups (widening participation, good governance, healthy placemaking, water & green, and holistic town planning) and distils 9 key issues of Auroville from the contributions throughout the entire workshop: declining unity, fixed or evolving galaxy, growth target, shortage of professional skills, youth, community partcipation, economy, mobility, and relationship with bioregion.
