Auroville MasterPlan 2004 – Directions for Growth

This plan builds on the earlier work carried out by Auroville in its Master Plan (Perspective Plan) 2000-2025 and has been facilitated by further studies undertaken in different sectors.  The document presents a comprehensive strategy for the development of Auroville. It covers the conceptualization and unique aspects of Auroville and the existing situation, and outlines directions for growth in chapters focusing on building the city, infrastructure, city center, and beyond. Imperatives for implementation, including financing and organizational structures, are emphasized.
