Delivering Auroville: the City of the Future

The study is based upon the author’s insights into the challenges facing development of Auroville and is developed in two parts: first part looks at the procedures required for development of a place to realize human unity. For this end it offers practical guidlines for unity to be achieved through community involvement, clarity of vision, and sense of place (urban design). The second part concerns implimentation in short and long term phases, focusing mostly on physical infrastructures.
